The Kerry Emergency Service Charity Cycle was started in 2009 by a few members of the Emergency Service in Kerry. This event was started to join two loves Cycling and helping local charties. As a emergency service we mostly meet people in their time of need so this event helps people come and meet us and join in on the cycle.
The 3rd Cycle took place on the 11th of June 2011. We had over 300 people taking part on the day. The two charties were Kerry Cancer Support Group & Order Of Malta Kerry. The cycle covered 80k and is a good warm up to the ring of kerry cycle that takes place later in the month. This is a fun day & NOT A RACE. After we returned to the starting place & had a BBQ and every one gets to chat and have the craic.
